A local news site has covered the opening of a Glengate showroom in Wilton. One recent customer who moved into an older home said garden designer Meghan Deitz and her crew updated the trees, shrubs and plants along the frontage and the driveway island and transplanted the few things they wanted to keep. When they pulled the pachysandra they found the septic piping had disintegrated; that customer said they repaired everything and put the gutter drainage underground. A recent pool customer said a substantial renovation was finished on budget and on schedule, with clear communication at every step. Pool care runs alongside the landscape work. A recent customer said Tyler H. explained what new pool equipment was needed, how to set the pool timer and what repairs the pool heater needs. A 2025 customer said Rich and team redesigned and installed new landscape lighting. A 2025 reviewer, a property manager on an estate in North Salem NY, said Glengate built a large outdoor pool and pool house there. A 2024 customer whose pool was completely renovated said Glengate is more expensive. A recent customer gave one star, saying Glengate refused their business solely based off of prejudice. In a 2020 Houzz review, a customer said Glengate built and maintained their pool, that a little over 15 years later the pool was crumbling, and that the company was taking no responsibility. **Strengths:** - A pool renovation — a 2026 customer said it finished on budget and schedule - A garden refresh — a 2026 customer said trees, shrubs and plants were updated - Landscape lighting — a 2025 customer had new lighting designed and installed **Concerns:** - A crumbling pool — a 2020 Houzz customer said the company took no responsibility - A refused job — a 2026 customer said they were refused over prejudice - Higher prices — a 2024 customer said Glengate is more expensive ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - The company's website lists landscape architecture, garden design, pool design and renovation, property care, pool care and arbor care _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](http://www.glengatecompany.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Services Landscape Architecture & Construction Outdoor Furnishings & Decor Garden Design & Installation Lan…” - The company says it has been in business 33 years _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://www.glengatecompany.com) — “Self-reported 33 years in business” - A 2026 customer said a garden refresh of an older home's frontage also uncovered and repaired disintegrated septic piping _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2trNGFYWm5SRUZHY21KU2NVUlNUM2hwTWpKVUxYYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x638c8847f22383d!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOkk4aXZnREFGcmJScURST3hpMjJULXc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Garden designer, Meghan Deitz, with her crew of Leonel, Daniel and Eric are amazing.
