A 2024 customer described Greg as the owner of GMB Overhead Door in Milford, CT. On its website the company says it services and repairs all brands of openers and also fully replaces existing units. Its BBB grade is A+. A recent customer says Greg walked them through a basic installation that worked as he said, rather than suggesting a paid service. A 2026 customer said Greg came out in less than an hour of the call and told them the garage door they had hit did not need to be replaced. In a 2024 review, a customer said Greg, the owner, opened their heavy two-car door so they could get their trapped cars out, took the broken spring with him to measure, and came back to replace the two 66-year-old springs and tune up the opener. A 2025 customer said Greg worked on a garage door install on an outbuilding where nothing was level, referred them to a carpenter he works with for structural prep, and got a standard-size door installed, which saved them money over a custom-size door. A 2024 customer said Greg returned their call without a message being left, walked them through opening the door, and later installed a new garage door and opener himself. A 2025 customer whose double-size door was jammed said the company fixed it quickly at a cost lower than expected. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0671245, as active, held by GMB Overhead Door LLC. **Strengths:** - Spring replacement — a 2024 customer had two 66-year-old springs replaced - An honest repair call — a 2026 customer heard the door needed no replacement - An outbuilding door install — a 2025 customer got a standard-size door fitted ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5 stars from 34 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=GMB%20Overhead%20Door%2C%20LLC&query_place_id=ChIJAT3Yf4znawERbitAPCAxnJI) — “Google: 5★ from 34 ratings” - BBB grade of A+ _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/shelton/profile/garage-doors/gmb-overhead-door-llc-0111-110089073) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - A 2024 customer described Greg as the owner of GMB Overhead Door in Milford, CT _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUMzLXVhWURnEAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x929c31203c402b6e!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgIC3-uaYDg%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Greg, who is the owner of GMB Overhead Door in Milford, CT is great.
