## The honest read

GNL Landscaping & Tree Services takes on yard jobs with several parts at once. One recent customer described a giant stump removal, two trees taken down, underbrush cleared and ground leveled in the backyard. On Google it holds 4.9 stars from 104 ratings.

Tree work runs through much of it. A recent customer had six trees removed. Another job took out a huge backyard tree and ground the stump, and that customer said they also replaced the fence and replanted evergreens moved for access. A recent customer hired GNL to clear overgrown land and prepare a level foundation for a new shed, with a boulder retaining wall because of the yard's slope. The company describes its work as planting, transplanting, excavation and irrigation, and says it has 20 years in business.

A recent customer said several branches fell onto a neighbor's property and were not cleaned up by the crew, that a number of the Green Giants they planted were crooked, and that Leigh ended a call abruptly. A 2025 customer said two Green Giants died despite a promised one-year guarantee.

**Strengths:**
- Six-tree removal — a recent customer had six trees taken down
- Stump grinding — a recent customer said they removed a tree and ground the stump
- Shed site prep — a recent customer described a level foundation and boulder wall

**Concerns:**
- Crooked plantings — a recent customer said planted Green Giants were crooked
- Tree guarantee — a 2025 customer said two Green Giants died under guarantee
