Last 6 months: 27 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read A recent customer had a backyard putting green installed that curves around existing tall trees, with Derek folding two chipping areas into a larger fringe area so they could add seating without needing permits for pavers. That is the kind of job Grass!365 does: artificial turf, from putting greens to a dog run, a soccer field and field hockey practice turf. The company's website names Derek Paglia as the Principal at Grass!365 Connecticut and says he spent over a decade in the golf industry before moving into synthetic grass; it also states 28 years in business. On Google it shows 5 stars from 112 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+. A recent customer says Derek made sure debris from a pond liner improperly removed by another landscaper was taken out, excavating deeper than a turf job would require. A recent customer says Derek completed an artificial grass installation in one day. A recent customer says the turf was designed to flow around existing trees and landscaping, and that the company worked around a roof installation happening at the home at the same time. A recent customer in Queens says Derek looked at a tight-access city backyard in person, and Ryan and Jack were in and out in a few hours. A recent customer says Ryan and crew bagged the old material on a dog run job, and the place was spotless when they got home. A recent customer says Ryan and team installed turf on a rooftop. A 2025 customer said a 15x10 putting green was done within the day. A 2025 customer said Ryan gave an estimate and the artificial grass was installed within the same week, and mentioned zero percent financing. A 2023 customer said Derek and his team completed a backyard patio and pool deck in the exact number of days promised and on budget, working through significant rain. A 2024 customer gave 3 stars after a 330 sq ft install done in one day. That 2024 customer said no weed barrier was put down, a cut on one side left visible sections, sand was left all over the yard, and grass started growing through the turf a week after installation. The same 2024 customer said the installation was done in a timely fashion. **Strengths:** - Custom putting green — a recent green curves around existing tall trees - A one-day install — a recent customer says Derek finished in one day - Deeper excavation — a recent customer says old pond liner debris was removed - Rooftop turf — a recent customer says Ryan and team installed it **Concerns:** - Grass through turf — a 2024 customer said it grew through within a week - Sand left behind — a 2024 customer said sand was left all over the yard ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5 stars from 112 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Grass!365&query_place_id=ChIJca9RhD7QxwIRUH6Gjwaf_o4) — “Google: 5★ from 112 ratings” - Better Business Bureau grade of A+ _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/norwalk/profile/artificial-turf/grass365-0111-110094884) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - The website names Derek Paglia as the Principal at Grass!365 Connecticut _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://ct.grass365.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Derek Paglia is the Principal at Grass!365 Connecticut.
