That 2022 customer said the Green and Growing crew handled the removal and clean-up and was competitively priced. A recent customer said they removed one dying tree and trimmed a few others. A 2024 customer said Josh and his crew removed two trees at a competitive price, were careful in removing them, and cleaned up everything after they were finished. In 2022, a customer said Josh and his team removed over 12 very tall trees from the customer's property and a neighbor's property in Southport, and that Josh, the owner, managed the project on-site from start to finish. A 2022 customer said Josh came out half an hour after a call to give an estimate, and that two weeks later they came on the day they said they would. A 2022 customer said the cut limbs were stacked neatly so the customer could split them. A 2022 customer said they trimmed large, overgrown hemlocks. A 2025 reviewer who let Josh use their yard to cut down a neighbor's tree said two branches were dropped on the reviewer's shed, the shed's skylight was broken, a hole was poked in its side and the driveway was cracked, and that Josh refused to take responsibility for the damage. **Strengths:** - Crane tree removal — a 2022 customer had a tree over 80 feet removed - Careful clean-up — a 2024 customer said everything was cleaned up after - A quick estimate — a 2022 customer said Josh came within half an hour - Hemlock trimming — a 2022 customer had large, overgrown hemlocks trimmed **Concerns:** - Shed and driveway damage — a 2025 reviewer said Josh refused responsibility ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A 2022 customer had a tree over 80 feet removed with a crane _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUQyLWFHNUt3EAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x6e465c61b67f06f6!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgID2-aG5Kw%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Had a very large tree (> 80’) on the shore of our property on the water.
