## The honest read

Green Comfort NRG Solutions is an insulation contractor that describes itself on BuildZoom as based in Danbury. Its website names a service area of Ridgefield, Greenwich, Danbury, Litchfield, Fairfield, Chester and Putnam, and the company says it has been in business for 17 years. On Google it shows 4.9 stars from 34 ratings.

A recent customer said the job was replacing fiberglass with rockwool insulation under the floor of two large crawl spaces. That customer said Justine, named as the owner, answered questions, provided the cost estimate and gave guidance on using the HES rebate, and that Lamar and son took the two areas from really messy to sparkling clean. A recent customer said the job was completed on schedule, last-minute modifications were addressed, and the site was left clean for inspection and build out.

A 2026 customer said Justin was patient when they had to delay work for personal reasons, and that their home was much more efficient as a result. In a 2024 review, a customer said Green Comfort Solutions spray foamed the whole upstairs and roof with closed cell foam as part of a renovation, with everything cut down to be drywall ready. A 2023 customer said Justin and team finished new attic insulation in less than a 36 hour window, with two workers in the field working on a Saturday.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0641434, as active, held by GREEN COMFORT SOLUTIONS INC.
