Its website lists a service area of Fairfield, Westport, Milford, Weston, Easton, Redding, Norwalk, Darien and Bridgeport, and the Better Business Bureau gives it an A+ grade. A 2023 customer said the company painted seven rooms in their house. That 2023 customer wrote that Tim scoped the job, gave a timely and fair estimate, and showed up at the outset of the job each day. A 2021 customer had used Grega Painting before with good results, then hired Tim and his crew to paint the exterior of the house that summer and gave two stars. That 2021 customer said the paint was sloppy and uneven, that paint dripped onto the porch stonework and damaged new Azek stairs, and that windows were painted shut, which they did fix. In 2021 the same customer also wrote that the shutters were put back incorrectly and that the job cost more than other painters had quoted, while calling Tim very good at communicating. **Strengths:** - A seven-room interior job — a 2023 customer said 7 rooms were painted - A fair estimate — a 2023 customer said Tim gave a timely, fair estimate **Concerns:** - Paint drips outside — a 2021 customer said paint dripped onto porch stonework - A higher price — a 2021 customer paid more than other painters quoted ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - The company says Emil founded the painting business in 1942 and that Tim and Tom continue the family tradition today _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.gregapainting.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): In 1942, our grandfather Emil founded the painting business, laying a strong foundation for the future.
