## The honest read

Grizzly Junk Pros rents dumpsters and hauls away junk, and it holds 4.9 stars from 164 Google ratings. The company says it has been in business 12 years, and its website lists estate, garage, basement and hoarding cleanouts among its residential work.

A recent customer was quoted $140 upfront to remove an old queen bedframe and box spring, and said two friendly guys came a couple days later and were out the door in a few minutes. Ben and Anthoni removed a vast amount of stored food and other rubble from a recent customer's late brother's apartment. A recent customer said Justin and Grizzly Junk Pros helped demo out a garage, provided the dumpster bins and cleared the garage out. A recent dumpster renter said the dumpster was put exactly where they wanted it. In a 2024 review, a customer said they sent a crew and three trucks that worked nonstop for seven hours on a 54 x 25' basement filled with 65 years of household stuff.

A recent customer who ordered a 10 yard dumpster said a 20 yard was delivered instead, and the driver said to fill it only halfway or be charged overages; they went over, which nearly doubled the bill. That customer also said the driver pushed back on placing the dumpster on wood to protect a newer driveway, and that drop-off did not happen until 3:30 PM, after a follow-up call. A 2024 reviewer warned builders in the area of excessive charges and fees. A 2024 Reddit commenter in r/StamfordCT recalled paying about $150 for the smallest truck load. Its Better Business Bureau grade is A+.

**Strengths:**
- Upfront pricing — a recent customer was quoted $140 before the pickup
- A garage demo — a recent customer said they demoed and cleared a garage
- Dumpster placement — a recent customer said it went exactly where wanted

**Concerns:**
- Dumpster size mix-up — a recent customer got a 20 yard instead of 10
- Overage charges — a recent customer said going over nearly doubled the bill
- Charges and fees — a 2024 reviewer warned builders about excessive charges
