Its website claims 25 years in business. A recent Thumbtack customer said Jay was at their home 20 minutes after contacting them, quoted 35% below the first quote they had received, and the gutters were installed three days later. A recent customer said the quote came in lower than two others and everything, including gutter guards, was installed in an afternoon. A recent customer said Jay planned out the job with them, kept an open line of communication and repaired their gutters. A 2025 Google reviewer with a historic home said Jay found a way to install copper gutter guards around the hangers on the existing copper gutters, carving out tiny channels to accommodate them. A 2024 customer who described themselves as a licensed contractor said they hired Jay to replace the gutters on their house with copper. A 2020 Thumbtack reviewer described Jay as the owner and operator and said he personally performs the work with the support of an apprentice. A 2023 Google reviewer gave one star and said a contract signed in 2021 was still incomplete after two years of sporadic work, and that the company caused at least $30,000 in damage to their home. That 2023 reviewer said a thunderstorm flooded one of their rooms while the roof was being replaced, and that the company's lawyer sent a letter stating it intended to sever the contract. **Strengths:** - Quick quote visits — a recent customer had Jay on site 20 minutes after contact - One-afternoon install — a recent customer had gutters and guards installed in an afternoon - Historic copper guards — a 2025 reviewer described channels carved around existing hangers **Concerns:** - An unfinished contract — a 2023 reviewer alleged at least $30,000 in damage ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself on BBB as specializing in residential and commercial gutter and gutter guard installation _(confidence: medium)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ri/warwick/profile/general-contractor/gutter-masters-of-new-england-llc-0021-456230) — “About (Better Business Bureau, self-described): Gutter Masters of new England LLC, specializes in residential and commercial premium gutter …” - Its website claims 25 years in business _(confidence: low)_ - [Official Website](https://www.guttermastersofne.com) — “Self-reported 25 years in business” - A recent customer had Jay on site for a quote 20 minutes after contact, with gutters installed three days later _(confidence: high)_ - [Thumbtack](https://www.thumbtack.com/ri/warwick/gutters/gutter-masters-new-england/service/210533868184880330) — “5★ Jay contacted me within minutes of my request, and was at my home 20 minutes later to give me a quote.
