## The honest read

Thirty stumps in six hours. A recent customer who found H & H Stump Grinding through Angi said Jake came out to survey the job, the quote ran a little higher than some of the 3 others they had out, and the team came out a day earlier than scheduled and cleaned up everything.

A recent customer said H&H was on time getting the stumps out and hauling them away, cleaned up after, and the price was right. A recent customer in Bloomfield, Connecticut, had a stump removed after Quentin came out.

In 2025, a customer said Quentin and Al showed up at 7:15am and were done with a large stump by 8:10am, leveling off where it had been and dumping the chips behind the shed for fill. A 2025 customer had 4 stumps ground, with everything cleaned up and raked smooth. A 2025 customer wrote that the company had done a few jobs at the house and that Al and his team were thoughtful about pre-existing plants and flowers. A 2025 customer said a stump was removed within only a few hours of calling for a quote.

In 2023, a customer said the price for a stump removal stayed the same between an earlier estimate and the later call, and the job also covered topsoil, seed, fertilizer and hay. A 2023 customer praised the thorough removal of stumps and debris and said care was taken to avoid the septic system. A 2023 customer wrote that Quentin removed stumps and prepared an area for a new tree. In 2022, a customer said H&H ground a large stump, removed old firewood, leveled the ground with topsoil, seeded it and covered it with hay.

The company holds an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau and is accredited there.
