The Danbury company holds a 5.0 from 13 ratings on both HomeAdvisor and Angi and a 5 from 3 on Google, and reviewers name Cody and his team. In 2025, a November customer had a roof replaced and a front porch redone so an elderly parent "can get up and down a lot easier"; an October reviewer had a deck extension built and called it "a family owned business"; another October customer had siding done "quicker than expected." A September 2025 reviewer had a pool deck added and an old deck refurbished, and an August 2025 customer said Cody and his team did a kitchen backsplash and fireplace, "worked fast" and left minimal mess. A May 2023 customer had the exterior of the house painted. In 2017 and 2018 Thumbtack reviews, customers wrote about Dan Hadden, named by one reviewer as "Dan Hadden (Pilgrim Co.)", tiling two bathrooms, painting a picket fence and grouting and painting a master bedroom and bath in under a day. In a February 2021 BuildZoom review, a customer who gave two stars said a half-bath renovation left drill marks on a wall and two nail holes unpatched, that the concern drew an "unconcerning" response, and that water leaked from the hot water three days later. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration HIC.0647337, held by Eli Hadden, is listed as expired. Houzz lists a different registration number, 0654482, for the company. Its Better Business Bureau grade is an A+, and the BBB lists it as accredited. **Strengths:** - Repeat hires — a 2023 customer used them for siding, deck and roof - Decks — 2025 customers had extensions and a pool deck built **Concerns:** - Expired HIC registration — Connecticut lists HIC.0647337 as expired - Bath renovation finish — a 2021 customer cited unpatched holes and a leak ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration HIC.0647337, held by Eli Hadden, is listed as expired _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://www.elicense.ct.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx) — “CT hic license HIC.0647337 registry-verified expired — registry holder of record: ELI HADDEN” - Houzz lists registration number 0654482 for the company _(confidence: low)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/general-contractors/hadden-home-improvement-pfvwus-pf~691324151) — “Licence listed on Houzz: 0654482 (licence number printed on Houzz, self-reported)” - Better Business Bureau grade of A+, listed as accredited _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/danbury/profile/home-improvement/hadden-home-improvement-0111-110075949) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/danbury/profile/home-improvement/hadden-home-improvement-0111-110075949) — “Better Business Bureau: accredited / certified / member” - 5.0 from 13 ratings on HomeAdvisor, 5.0 from 13 on Angi and 5 from 3 on Google _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Hadden%20Home%20Improvement&query_place_id=ChIJAQBMcwz_54kRAL83wYFdETI) — “Google: 5★ from 3 ratings” - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/danbury/hadden-home-improvements-reviews-1.htm) — “Angi: 5.0★ from 13 ratings” - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.HaddenHomeImprovements.158824686.html) — “HomeAdvisor: 5.0★ from 13 ratings” - A March 2023 customer hired the company for siding, a deck and then a roof _(confidence: medium)_ - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/danbury/hadden-home-improvements-reviews-1.htm) — “I first hired Hadden Home Improvement to replace a siding on my house.
