## The honest read

Handyman Mason is Cleber's crew, and decks are what they keep getting called for. A May 2024 customer had the old surface torn off and replaced, the carpentry finished in a single day, the site swept clean and the original estimate honored. In 2022 another had a 34-by-14-foot deck stained down to the rails and the lattice underneath. A 2021 customer converted a wood deck to composite and came away calling Cleber one of the best small-business communicators he had hired.

The business is listed in Milford and says it serves Metrowest and Boston. It calls itself family-owned, seven years in, led by someone with more than two decades in construction, and its own list runs well past decks: painting, tile, masonry, finish carpentry, flooring, window and door replacement, power washing and siding. Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.9 stars across 58 ratings, ninety percent of them five, and both note Spanish-language service and free estimates.

The older accounts fill in that range. In October 2021 a customer had vinyl siding put on dormers, window trim replaced and touch-up painting done; that June another had framing, siding and painting on an extension and deck. Two 2019 reviewers described a painting and home-repair operation with its own carpentry skills, naming Vini, Philip and Vinicius alongside Cleber. The Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration #196869 appears on BuildZoom, Angi and HomeAdvisor with an October 2027 expiry, but that is the directories' own listing rather than a state-registry check, so ask to see the registration. And the newest written review is from June 2025, so ask who is on the crew now - the accounts name Cleber himself.

For deck work, exterior carpentry and siding around Milford and the Metrowest towns, this is a sensible call. Get the estimate in writing, since more than one customer made a point of the price holding, and confirm whether painting is included once the carpentry is done.
