On Angi and HomeAdvisor it lists lawn maintenance and mowing, site preparation and clearing, landscape design and minor grading. The longest account is a mixed one. In a July 2022 Google review, a new-in-town customer said Chris responded promptly and quoted $1200 in mid-March to clear an overgrown back yard of weeds and bushes, agreed to keep it to about $1000, and said he would be out the first week of April. The customer said they texted and called several times, got a mid-April text saying he would come the next day to "complete the work" though he hadn't started, and then heard nothing back through April, so they hired someone else. The other reviews are short and positive: a May 2025 Google customer called the service professional and reliable, and an April 2022 Angi customer said Hansen offered excellent service at a fair price. Google shows 3.7 stars from 11 ratings; Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 5.0 from 1. Connecticut's registry shows its home improvement contractor license, HIC.0658080, as expired. **Strengths:** - Reliable service — a May 2025 Google customer says so **Concerns:** - Went silent — a 2022 customer says the agreed April cleanup never started - Expired HIC license — Connecticut lists HIC.0658080 as expired ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A July 2022 customer says Chris agreed to a yard cleanup for an April start, then stopped responding, and they hired someone else _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUN1OFBmQU9BEAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x9b2e21bf099d910d!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICu8PfAOA%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “3★ So Chris did respond promptly to do some yard work as I was new in town, and I asked if he could clear out the back yard of overgrown wee…” - Connecticut HIC license HIC.0658080, held by Hansen Lawn and Landscape LLC, is expired _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://www.elicense.ct.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx) — “CT hic license HIC.0658080 registry-verified expired — registry holder of record: HANSEN LAWN AND LANDSCAPE LLC” - A May 2025 customer calls the lawn service professional and reliable _(confidence: low)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VNMy0zTE80dDdxUFVnEAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x9b2e21bf099d910d!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEM3-3LO4t7qPUg%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Great professional and reliable service.
