The company says it has been in business 12 years. In 2020, a news page on news.gp.com reported that Laura, the owner, volunteered to clean essential workers' homes while they worked on the frontlines of the crisis. A 2023 Google reviewer wrote that the company had been cleaning the house weekly for well over a year and that a cleaner named Grismaldi "makes the house look spotless even with 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 kids." Another 2023 Google reviewer wrote that a cleaner named Erica took care around an older dog who can't hear or see well, and that the office staff were flexible when appointments needed to change. A 2022 Google reviewer wrote that the company had been cleaning the home for over a year and that its cleaners leave notes for each other, so the household did not have to explain what was different each week. A 2022 Reddit poster in r/westernmass wrote that the household paid $153, not including tip, for bi-weekly cleaning. A 2025 Google reviewer wrote that the person who answered the phone was impatient and rude when asked for a ballpark estimate, and quoted $300 for a deep clean including stove and fridge. A 2019 Angi reviewer wrote that an entire floor of the house was not cleaned after a price for a regular clean was agreed, and that the company said it ran out of time after deep cleaning some areas. A 2018 Angi reviewer wrote that a crew of 2 workers arrived 45 minutes late to clean a neglected older home, stayed half a day and charged $550, and that the reviewer's husband found areas only lightly wiped or not addressed. **Strengths:** - Care around pets — a 2023 customer said Erica took care around an older dog - Notes between cleaners — a 2022 customer said cleaners leave notes for each other **Concerns:** - Missed floor — a 2019 customer said an entire floor went uncleaned - Phone manner — a 2025 caller said the person answering was impatient and rude ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as providing cleaning services in Western Massachusetts for homeowners, landlords, renters and offices _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://happyhomemaidsservices.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): We provide cleaning services in Western Massachusetts that will make you happy whether or not you are a hom…” - Says it has been in business 12 years _(confidence: low)_ - [Official Website](https://happyhomemaidsservices.com) — “Self-reported 12 years in business” - In 2020, news.gp.com reported that the owner, Laura, volunteered to clean essential workers' homes _(confidence: medium)_ - [news.gp.com](https://news.gp.com/2020/05/brawny-brand-rolls-out-support-to-giants-taking-action-in-their-community) — “news.gp.com — Laura, owner of cleaning service Happy Home Maid Service volunteered to clean essential workers’ homes while they’re hard at w…” - A 2023 Google reviewer wrote that the company had cleaned the house weekly for well over a year _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://maps.google.com/?cid=3073179569527927772&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “5★ Happy home has been cleaning my house weekly for well over a year now and overall I am very pleased with their service.
