That is the job a recent Google customer describes from Happy Tree Care LLC, which calls itself an arborist service doing tree pruning, tree removal, tree health care and risk assessments across East Hampton, Glastonbury, Portland, Marlborough, Colchester, Middletown and surrounding Connecticut towns. Its website claims 20 years in business. That hemlock customer says Chris offered a minimally invasive option, his crew removed all 5 trees quickly, and Chris priced a Norway maple on the spot and removed it while they were still there. A recent reviewer had a weeping tree with cable and electrical lines running through it cut down and was given 3 price points for what to do with the tree afterward. A recent customer says Chris came right out to check on a storm-damaged tree, then pruned it, stacked the wood and cleaned up completely. A recent customer says the cleanup after a tree was cut down and removed left "not even a wood-chip, branch, or leaf" behind. A recent customer says Chris cleaned up overgrown arborvitaes and explained what future care the trees need. In a 2025 review, a customer said Chris and his team climbed and used ropes to remove two dead birches from a tight, small yard without damaging the property. That 2025 customer also wrote that Happy Tree Care booked them quickly while other companies quoted much higher prices and were booking months out. **Strengths:** - Hemlock removal — a recent customer had five 80-foot hemlocks taken down quickly - A thorough cleanup — a recent customer said not even a wood-chip was left - A tight-yard removal — a 2025 customer said ropes kept the property undamaged ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as providing tree pruning, tree removal, tree health care and risk assessments in East Hampton, Glastonbury, Portland, Marlborough, Colchester, Middletown and surrounding Connecticut towns _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.happytreecare.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Happy Tree Care LLC provides professional arborist services including tree pruning, tree removal, tree heal…” - The company's website claims 20 years in business _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.happytreecare.com) — “Self-reported 20 years in business” - A recent customer had five 80-foot hemlocks removed, with the wood and chips taken away _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2tNd2JWTkdaMFUzYWxJM1dteHZURFpZUmprdFFtYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x19b71ef78e31c51a!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOkMwbVNGZ0U3alI3WmxvTDZYRjktQmc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We have been dealing with tall hemlock trees snapping in storms and dropping large limbs for years.
