A May 2026 customer who has used the company for several years says the Harmers explain everything, answer questions and do quality work at their "older and sometimes challenging home"; a January 2026 review is a single line about service "in this old house." Harmer & Sons Plumbing & Heating is based on Swamp Road in New Gloucester and describes itself as a local, family owned plumbing company serving New Gloucester and the surrounding area, including Southern and Central Maine. All five written Google reviews, from October 2025 to May 2026, are five stars. In a November 2025 review, a customer said the crew showed up when they said they would, did exactly the work needed within the price they expected, and cleaned up afterwards. An October 2025 reviewer said they had used Harmer and Sons for years and described the service as prompt and professional, and a March 2026 first-time customer called them thorough and knowledgeable. The Google average stands at 4.5 stars from 11 ratings. BuildZoom lists a City of Windham plumber licence, MS30015673, for the business and shows two projects.
