## The honest read

Haul Lotta Junk is a junk removal company with 5 stars from 206 Google ratings, 5.0 stars from 38 ratings on Thumbtack and an A- grade from the BBB. Its website lists a Fairfield County service area running from Bethel and Bridgeport to Westport and Wilton.

A recent customer said two of the co-owners, Brandon and Zarif, made two full trips, clearing junk from the yard and basement and then emptying and draining a 6-person spa before removing it. A customer handling an estate move-out said they removed old, heavy appliances, emptied the basement and garage, and swept their way out of the house. That customer also said they stopped to bring in things that might be important, like a set of car keys they found. A customer whose father had died said they cleaned out his house.

In Norwalk, a customer had a sofa and loveseat removed the same day; when a tight doorway got in the way, they used an alternate exit route with more steps and kept the price the same as quoted. A customer who booked a 3pm-5pm window said they came at 12:10pm and were done by 12:45pm. A customer who texted on a Saturday for an estimate and sent photos had an old swing set and a free-standing basketball hoop taken away that Monday. A customer who requested a quote on the company's website got a text within minutes, and the estimate given from a photo held when everything was picked up the next day.

A 2026 customer said they cleared a backyard filled with debris, broken structures and years of buildup. A 2026 commenter on r/Connecticut said they used the company and it was "priced good and very friendly." A recent customer in Shelton wished the minimum charge were lower, while calling it competitive with others they called.

**Strengths:**
- Hot tub removal — a recent customer said a 6-person spa was drained and removed
- Same-day pickup — a Norwalk customer had a sofa and loveseat removed same day
- A held estimate — a photo estimate held at the next-day pickup

**Concerns:**
- Minimum charge — a recent Shelton customer wished it were lower
