## The honest read

HD Drywall & Painting holds 4.9 stars from 67 Google ratings.

A customer whose new bathroom tub install leaked through the first-floor ceiling said Manuel came the next day to assess and estimate the repair, and the repairs came out great. A customer who has hired them twice said they performed drywall work, painting, carpentry and flooring work on the home. A customer hired Manuel to finish a bathroom ceiling.

A 2025 customer said HD Drywall completed a Sheetrock and drywall project on the walls and ceiling of three basement rooms, laying plastic film over the existing carpet first. A 2025 customer described a laundry room and storage room basement renovation that included drywalling, carpentry, painting, shelves and rigid foam insulation.

In 2022, a customer wrote that after Hurricane Ida flooded their basement in September 2021, Manuel came right over to estimate, then cleaned up, installed new drywall and came back 3 separate times to sand. A 2022 customer said HD Drywall installed drywall, tape and mud on a basement ceiling to a Level 4 finish and repainted existing walls affected by the work. A 2022 customer described drywall, plaster repair and paint on a second-story home addition, including rebuilding an archway.

One recent customer said Manuel never responded after an estimate meeting, despite several follow-ups, and no estimate ever arrived.
