A recent Google customer with a mold issue in a Madison, CT basement said they got through to Joe, that the home evaluation was quick and thorough, and that Joe was back to treat the mold the following week with his team. A recent customer with water leaking into a lower level said it had created mold in the flooring and on the walls, and that Joe explained what needed to be done and why. While examining the leakage, he pointed out problems the basement flooring company had not noticed. Bill and Alicia of Guilford, CT wrote that they hired Healthy Home to treat the entire basement ceiling joist and the foundation walls of a 1951 house they had gutted to the studs, and to install a heavy gauge vapor barrier over the dirt floor of an adjacent crawl space; they said the floor joists have stayed mold free for 4 years. A 2025 customer said Joe explained the process start to finish and put in long hours on the house. A 2024 customer said Joe and his team took care of an attic mold problem as promised and that Joe used all natural ingredients. A 2024 customer called after a home energy audit found mold in the attic and said Joe was able to treat the attic without using harsh chemicals. A 2024 customer said Joe and his team helped solve a mold issue in the basement, that Joe took the time to explain the source of the mold and how to prevent it from recurring, and that he was flexible around their schedule. A 2023 customer whose son bought a house riddled with toxic mold said Joe did a very thorough inspection and that they were always informed of the status of the different areas of the home during remediation. A 2023 customer called Healthy Home after an energy audit found black mold in the attic and described a clean work area. Its BBB grade is A+, and it holds 5 stars from 13 Google ratings. **Strengths:** - Basement mold treatment — a recent customer said Joe was back the following week - Attic mold treatment — a 2024 customer said it was done without harsh chemicals - Crawl space vapor barrier — a recent customer described a heavy gauge install - A clear explanation — a 2025 customer said Joe explained the process start to finish ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Treats mold in basements and attics _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2psWWIwSnlhMDFRUlVwRVRGZEhZMHhUWlRWSWFIYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xcb4ad1d6db732d19!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOjlYb0Jya01QRUpETFdHY0xTZTVIaHc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I had a mold issue in my Madison, CT basement.
