## The honest read

Henniker Septic Service Inc. says on its website that it has been serving Henniker and surrounding areas since 1985 and offers septic cleaning, pumping, grease traps and 24/7 emergency service. Its BBB listing describes it as pumping residential and commercial tanks, cleaning cesspools, replacing broken baffles and thawing frozen lines from tank to house, and says it also has portable toilets.

In a 2026 review, a customer wrote that another company said it would be there in three days, while Henniker was there and had the problem fixed in 3 hours, then carefully removed the grass and replaced it so you couldn't tell anything had happened; that customer called Garrett fantastic. In a 2026 review, a customer wrote that the technician knew exactly where their septic tank was located and that pumping out took 15 minutes at most.

In a 2025 review, a customer wrote that Laith did their home septic inspection and was able to explain everything, and that they used Henniker after closing for the recommended repairs. In a 2025 review, a customer wrote that Laith got out to them for an inspection within 24 hours of reaching out and took the time to get confirmation on a couple of the trickier questions while he was still there.

A BBB reviewer described the owner as very aggressive and rude.

**Strengths:**
- Emergency septic repair — a 2026 customer's problem was fixed in 3 hours
- Septic inspection — in 2025 Laith came within 24 hours of the call
- Septic pumping — a 2026 pump-out took 15 minutes at most

**Concerns:**
- Owner conduct — a BBB reviewer called the owner aggressive and rude
