The company holds 4.7 stars from 61 Google ratings, 4.8 from 25 on Angi and 4.4 from 24 on HomeAdvisor, and its reviews name Moyan Henry from 2019 to 2026. The recent jobs are large and varied. A July 2025 customer had a partly finished basement turned into a small apartment for an aging father. In a November 2025 review, a family described converting a half bath to a full bath, remodeling the kitchen and main bath, and expanding the deck. Flood repairs come up too: a March 2025 reviewer had a bathroom and kitchen rebuilt after flood damage and said the cost was less than a heavily advertised local company quoted, and a January 2026 Angi reviewer whose condo flooded from the unit above said Moyan was patient through the insurance process. A November 2023 customer working 1,500 miles away said he sent photos of every material before buying it. The complaints are older but serious. In May 2020, a HomeAdvisor reviewer described unfinished work — a toilet seat never screwed on, crumbling unsealed shower grout, workers missing days — and said Moyan stopped answering after the final payment. A March 2020 HomeAdvisor reviewer said inexperienced workers caused costly damage, that removing old basement vents without permission exposed the home to asbestos, and that they were suing. In December 2021, a Google reviewer said a bathroom job was scheduled and then he never showed or called. A March 2024 reviewer gave 4 stars over glass left in the driveway and lawn, though Henry came back to clean up and fix minor issues. The company's site offers free estimates and says it is insured. Its Connecticut home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0660832, is active. **Strengths:** - Large remodels — 2025 reviews describe additions and whole-house work - Flood rebuilds — 2025 and 2026 reviewers had water damage rebuilt - Remote updates — 2023 customer approved every material by photo - Registration active — Connecticut HIC.0660832 is active **Concerns:** - Unfinished work — 2020 reviewer cites crumbling grout and no callbacks - Damage allegation — 2020 reviewer alleged asbestos exposure, filed suit - No-show — 2021 reviewer's scheduled bathroom job never started - Messy cleanup — 2024 reviewer found glass in driveway and lawn ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Connecticut home improvement contractor registration HIC.0660832 is active _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://www.elicense.ct.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx) — “CT hic license HIC.0660832 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: HENRYS CONSTRUCTION & REMODELING LLC” - 4.7 stars from 61 Google ratings, 4.8 from 25 on Angi and 4.4 from 24 on HomeAdvisor _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Henrys%20construction%20%26%20Remodeling&query_place_id=ChIJ2SPMyKO_54kRxa7eNGIutcY) — “Google: 4.7★ from 61 ratings” - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/waterbury/henrys-construction-remodeling-llc-reviews-1.htm) — “Angi: 4.8★ from 25 ratings” - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.HenrysConstruction.85183225.html) — “HomeAdvisor: 4.4★ from 24 ratings” - An August 2025 reviewer had four bedrooms built over the garage without damage to the existing structure _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25GWVlUTnNNRkJLVTFJMmFYUkVlV3AwVTNOb09VRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xc6b52e6234deaec5!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnFYYTNsMFBKU1I2aXREeWp0U3NoOUE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ We waited 2 years for the right contractor and I am pleased to say the waiting was not in vain.
