## The honest read

Hillson Electric is an electrician with 5 stars from 43 Google ratings and a stated service area that runs from Derry, Londonderry and Salem to Methuen, Haverhill and Andover.

One recent customer was remodeling a large basement that had no electricity except the electrical box. That customer said he installed a sub panel and the outlets, hardwired the baseboard heating system, put in wiring and fixtures for recessed lighting, and installed new hardwired fire alarms throughout the home. A different customer said Hillson Electric upgraded the home to 200-amp service and called the work clean and professional.

For the electrical installation of an inground pool, a recent customer said scheduled service times came by email, arrival was always on time as scheduled, and the work space was clean when the job was done. One customer said a wind storm caused their electric pole to fall off the house, and Steve worked with NH electric and the town inspector and got it all replaced and in working order. On a solar system, a recent customer said Steve responded immediately to a maintenance call and spent the time to diagnose the issue and the possible solutions.

A 2025 customer said Steve installed a solar system and upgraded an electrical panel, communicating proactively each step of the project. A 2024 customer said the car arrived much earlier than expected, and Steve arranged to install the car charger within a couple of days.

**Strengths:**
- A 200-amp upgrade — one customer called the work clean and professional
- Pool electrical work — email scheduling and on-time arrival for an inground pool
- Storm repair coordination — Steve worked with NH electric and the town inspector
- Solar maintenance call — Steve responded immediately and diagnosed the issue
