Last 6 months: 7 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read Home Pros LLC is an East Haven roofer, and in its reviews the roofer has a name: Anthony Marks, called Tony by a couple of customers, one of whom describes him as the owner. Google shows 5 stars from 36 ratings, and Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 5.0 from 13. The written reviews run from 2024 to 2026. Cedar is a recurring job. In a July 2025 Google review, a couple described tearing off a stone-coated steel roof that had leaked continuously and restoring the house to cedar, with Anthony supervising the work on site daily; an October 2024 reviewer described a cedar roof with multiple flat-roof repairs and a shed roof. Insurance and solar come up too: a July 2025 customer with 35 solar panels said Anthony used a drone to show the roof damage came from a storm, coordinated with the solar and insurance companies, and saved them more than $25,000, and a July 2026 reviewer said he waited out a six-month delay caused by a reverse mortgage without pressure, then replaced the main roof along with the storm-damaged porch roof. Smaller repairs get the same attention. A July 2024 reviewer whose calls to other roofers went unreturned said Anthony came out the same day to replace a leaking pipe boot, then returned the next day to replace a cracked roof fan. In an August 2025 review, a homeowner said he offered a repair that would extend the roof's life a few more years rather than pushing a new roof. A September 2026 reviewer said the company came out in an emergency, finished in one day and came in under budget. The company also takes commercial work: a May 2026 reviewer described a full tear-off and EPDM rubber roof replacement on a shopping plaza building of over 10,000 square feet. Its Connecticut home improvement registration, HIC.0671729, held by Home Pros LLC, is active according to the state licence registry. **Strengths:** - Cedar roofs — 2024 and 2025 reviews describe complex cedar jobs - Insurance and solar coordination — a 2025 customer says it saved $25,000 - Same-day leak repairs — 2024 pipe-boot fix after others never called back - Honest repair advice — a 2025 reviewer got a repair, not a new-roof pitch ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Holds an active Connecticut home improvement registration, HIC.0671729, under Home Pros LLC, per the state licence registry _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://www.elicense.ct.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx) — “CT hic license HIC.0671729 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: HOME PROS LLC” - 5 stars on Google from 36 ratings; 5.0 on Angi and HomeAdvisor from 13 ratings each _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Home%20Pros%20LLC&query_place_id=ChIJvwOaYANe7y4R3MJbMMnsh2k) — “Google: 5★ from 36 ratings” - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/east-haven/home-pros-llc-reviews-1.htm) — “Angi: 5.0★ from 13 ratings” - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.HomeProsLLC.143037721.html) — “HomeAdvisor: 5.0★ from 13 ratings” - Customers name Anthony Marks, also called Tony, as their contact; one describes him as the owner _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2s1dmIyZFJia05xWXpGM1preHVTRFJQU1RoMlEzYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x6987ecc9305bc2dc!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOk5vb2dRbkNqYzF3ZkxuSDRPSTh2Q3c%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ The owner, Tony, came out to Old Lyme to give us an estimate for a roof repair.
