## The honest read

Home Roofing Solutions is a roofing company whose website says it has been in business 25 years. One recent Google customer says they removed and installed a shingle roof on the house and garage in one day.

A recent Google customer whose condo community had one building's roof replaced says Todd, the field manager, kept them fully informed, the roofers completed the job in one day, and the property was spotless by the time the crew left. A recent Google customer says Todd and his crew were there when they said they would be and left the work area cleaner than before they started. On Google the company holds 4.7 stars from 13 ratings, and its Better Business Bureau page shows an A+ grade.

A recent Google customer says the new roof was not the color they asked for and that multiple messages about working it out went unanswered; that customer called Bruce and Emerson friendly, polite and efficient. A 2026 Reddit commenter on r/Maine warned against hiring the company, writing that it had to come back four times and did a full replacement because the first attempt was so poorly done. A 2026 Reddit commenter on r/Maine said its shingle estimate of around $38,000 was the most expensive by far.

**Strengths:**
- A one-day reroof — a recent customer had house and garage done in a day
- A spotless property — a recent customer said so after a condo roof job

**Concerns:**
- Wrong roof color — a recent customer says messages went unanswered
- A redone roof — a 2026 Reddit commenter said it took four return visits
