On its Houzz profile the company says it specializes in kitchen cabinet refacing and refinishing, and its website says it installs the work itself. Its MA HIC registration 193653 is active on the state registry, with Raymond Glick as the holder of record. A recent customer says Ray changed the cabinets, put in pull-outs and added a new cabinet area in a kitchen more than 40 years old. That 2026 customer also wrote that Raymond accommodated requests such as reshaping the cabinet above the stove to fit a microwave and framing the island. A 2025 customer said Ray replaced three old drawers in their mother's kitchen. In another 2025 review, a customer said cabinet refacing transformed their 1950's cabinets. That 2025 customer wrote that Ray offered multiple options to stay within their budget and kept to the schedule he committed to. The same 2025 customer said Ray took care to protect the other areas of the home from dust and debris. A 2024 customer wrote that they found Raymond when looking for someone to update the kitchen cabinets of a house built in 2008, rather than replace them all. A 2019 Houzz reviewer said Raymond refaced their kitchen cabinets and was reasonable in price. **Strengths:** - Kitchen cabinet updates — a recent customer says Ray added pull-outs and cabinets - Cabinet refacing — a 2025 customer said 1950's cabinets were transformed - Dust protection — a 2025 customer said other areas were protected from dust ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Rated 5 stars on Google from 77 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Homestead%20Cabinet%20Design%20-%20Custom%20Kitchens%20-%20Refacing&query_place_id=ChIJ6aHGQje55okRAeOrsyvmI3c) — “Google: 5★ from 77 ratings” - MA HIC registration 193653 is active on the state registry, holder of record Raymond Glick _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://contractorhub.mass.gov/s/hic-contractor-search) — “MA hic license 193653 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: Raymond Glick” - Says on Houzz it specializes in kitchen cabinet refacing and refinishing _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/cabinets-and-cabinetry/homestead-cabinet-design-pfvwus-pf~632812169) — “About (Houzz profile, the business's own statement): We specialize in kitchen cabinet refacing and refinishing to give you an updated kitche…” - A recent customer says Ray changed the cabinets, added pull-outs and a new cabinet area _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://maps.google.com/?cid=8584958390070665985&g_mp=CiVnb29nbGUubWFwcy5wbGFjZXMudjEuUGxhY2VzLkdldFBsYWNlEAIYBCAA) — “5★ Ray turned our kitchen from a 40 + year old kitchen into the kitchen of our dreams.
