Carter is the handyman at the center of this business. A recent Google customer has worked with him for the past 13 years and says he can tackle just about any project. A customer who has worked with him since 2020 calls him the first person they call when the house starts falling apart, and says he does not stop until he figures out what is causing the problem. A recent first-time owner of a new business calls his prices very fair and says small jobs matter to him as much as big ones. Google shows 5 stars from 15 ratings, and HomeAdvisor shows 4.9 stars from 23 ratings. The older work runs from doors to plumbing. A 2023 customer said Carter changed sliding closet doors into French doors and called the price fair. A 2021 customer said Carter and his son ripped down old trim, installed new sheetrock and molding, and painted. When unforeseen wall issues changed the plan, that 2021 customer said Carter was very clear about revised invoices. In a 2017 review, a customer described bathroom and kitchen work that included fixing a giant hole in the sheetrock, tiling and plumbing installations. A 2016 customer said Carter repaired a leak beneath a bathtub and changed the finishing so the valves can be reached; that 2016 customer also said email is the best way to contact him. A 2017 customer said he did a good job repairing a pipe but was not totally satisfied after hiring him for other work. **Strengths:** - Hot tub repair — a recent customer said the tub is working now - Fair pricing — a recent customer calls his prices very fair - Clear revised invoices — a 2021 customer said Carter explained changed pricing - A bathtub leak fix — a 2016 customer said the valves are now reachable **Concerns:** - Follow-up work — a 2017 customer was not totally satisfied with other work ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 5 stars from 15 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Honey%20Do%20Home%20Improvements&query_place_id=ChIJk7tOfDeowokRVJxte_X6hks) — “Google: 5★ from 15 ratings” - 4.9 stars from 23 HomeAdvisor ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.HoneyDoHomeImprovements.95307555.html) — “HomeAdvisor: 4.9★ from 23 ratings” - A recent customer said they found incorrectly installed pipes on an Ofuro hot tub and the tub is working now _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT214c2NEaHhTRzVZVFdwa1UwdFRTSEJ6WDB0b1gwRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x4b86faf57b6d9c54!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOmxscDhxSG5YTWpkU0tTSHBzX0toX0E%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ HOT TUB REPAIR: Excellent work - I have an Ofuro Tub on my deck and the pipes were leaking over the winter and the Heater/pump stopped w…” - A recent customer has worked with Carter for 13 years and says he can tackle just about any project _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25sQ1VUWjJWSFJ2U0RoaGFscHhjSHBFVEU5alRYYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x4b86faf57b6d9c54!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnlCUTZ2VHRvSDhhalpxcHpETE9jTXc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I’ve had the pleasure of working with Carter for the past 13 years, and I can confidently say he is the best handyman I’ve ever encounter…” - A recent customer calls his prices very fair _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNzcEtiZXNnRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x4b86faf57b6d9c54!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICspKbesgE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Incredible patience.
