Its website names Plainfield, Waterford and Putnam as its service area and describes jobs from a basic move of personal property without packing to a complete move including packing and unpacking; the company says it has been in business 7 years. A recent customer said the move came in under the quoted price and that they gave tips to save time and money. A recent customer whose move was held for a few hours by closing problems said the owner came and helped his guys move everything, and nothing was damaged. A recent customer said the movers showed up a little early to unload their pods and finished sooner than planned. A 2026 customer said the movers arrived at 7:30 inside a 7:30-8:00 window and, because some things had already been moved, charged only for their time rather than the whole estimate. A 2026 customer needed a salvaged 1820s house door with its ornate frame and glazed transom moved, and said the moving crew were careful. A 2026 customer on their family's fourth move with the company said the crew disassembled and reassembled furniture and took apart some large shelving so it could be moved. In a 2025 review, a customer said that after canceled flights made them miss a pickup, the company drove 30-plus minutes to pick up the U-Haul, loaded it and had it waiting at the warehouse. In a 2024 review, a customer described a move from Woodstock, CT to Wake Forest, NC with two separate destinations. A 2025 r/connecticut commenter said they used Honor Movers in Putnam to move a family member 3 hours from MA to CT and called the pricing decent. In a 2023 review, a customer gave 1 star: a $700 quote for 3.5 hours became a charge for over 3 hours on a 1.5-hour move, and on complaining they were told of a minimum that was not stated in the contract. That 2023 customer said the charge was lowered some but was still almost double what they quoted. **Strengths:** - Under the quote — a recent customer said the move came in under quote - Owner on the job — a recent customer said the owner helped move everything - A delicate antique door — a 2026 customer had an 1820s house door moved - Furniture disassembly — a 2026 customer said furniture was taken apart and reassembled **Concerns:** - Hourly minimum dispute — a 2023 customer said they were charged almost double the quote ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 4.9 stars from 150 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=Honor%20Movers&query_place_id=ChIJg8VeKpEu5IkRRRCXLAoDWDQ) — “Google: 4.9★ from 150 ratings” - The company names Plainfield, Waterford and Putnam as its service area and says it has been in business 7 years _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](https://www.honormovers.com) — “Self-reported 7 years in business” - [Official Website](https://www.honormovers.com) — “Stated service area (self-reported): Plainfield, Waterford, Putnam” - A recent customer said the move came in under the quoted price _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25oSU0xQklhRlJhU2sxeWJ6STJURmRNUTJrMlprRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x3458030a2c971045!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnhIM1BIaFRaSk1ybzI2TFdMQ2k2ZkE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ On time, very responsive, fast, efficient, and came in under the quoted price.
