## The honest read

A dishwasher installation followed by a separate job fitting a refrigerator into a tight space: that is how one May 2026 Angi customer described hiring Todd at Hoot the Handyman. Another customer writing that month praised prompt scheduling and completion, along with thorough consultation about how to carry out the work.

The Belchertown business describes more than 30 years of industry experience on its Angi profile. It advertises interior and exterior maintenance and repairs, rental-property maintenance, carpentry, appliance installation, assembly, and closet systems. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active under Hoot the Handyman LLC.

Older customer accounts describe a range of small household projects. A December 2023 reviewer said the worker replaced old dryer vent material, kept them informed about arrival and the work, and cleaned everything afterward. A June 2023 reviewer described new screens installed on a screened-in porch. In an April 2023 review, a customer praised the restoration of a 1946 mahogany desk, saying the worker protected the garage floor and preserved the desk’s patina.

A customer writing in February 2023 said Todd had helped with household jobs for three years, including gutter cleaning, chimney-cap replacement, outdoor-lighting repairs, and flushing a water heater. That customer praised his communication, upfront pricing, and arriving when promised. Another February 2023 reviewer described having a closet built.

**Strengths:**
- Appliance installation — a May 2026 customer praised dishwasher installation and refrigerator fitting
- Project consultation — a May 2026 reviewer praised thorough discussion and prompt completion
- Clear pricing — a February 2023 repeat customer praised upfront pricing
