## The honest read

Indoor Comfort Systems installs and repairs furnaces and air conditioning, according to its own website, which also lists cleaning, tune-ups, annual maintenance and 24-hour emergency service.

In a 2016 review, a customer whose 21-year-old furnace was giving up said Mike offered to come at 10:30pm to get the heat going, then spent almost two hours the next morning working out whether it was worth fixing. That 2016 customer said Mike and John came the following day with a new furnace and installed it quickly.

A 2015 customer said Mike, the owner, gave the quote himself and did the install, at a price much less than the larger heating companies. A 2013 customer said Mike went online to find an obsolete part needed to connect a new AC to 35-year-old wood/oil furnace duct work, fit it into a cramped space and got the system working on a 97 degree day. A 2012 customer said he corrected a cracked pipe and a part the previous vendor had installed improperly, and found that the gas provider's regulator was not working at the proper PSI. A 2014 customer said Mike's honest assessment of what was needed saved them over $4000.
