## The honest read

A recent customer who has used J&J since moving in 2 years ago says the team killed and re-seeded the backyard, created a shade garden, restored the front lawn from weeds, and added stones and masonry on the side yard. That customer says they have also helped with the gutters.

J&J LawnCare LLC says it has been in business 10 years, and its website lists a service area of Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, Rye, Norwalk and Riverside. It holds 5 stars from 113 ratings on Google and an A+ grade from the Better Business Bureau.

A recent customer says Jonathan and Rudy transformed a back yard from a pile of rocks to a retaining wall with more acreage for new grass to grow. A recent customer who had the front yard updated before listing their home says Jonathan came out quickly for an estimate and delivered exactly what he promised; that customer also says he can be a little hard to reach because he is so busy, and that the work is not the cheapest option.

A 2025 customer said they aerated and seeded the lawn and provided watering instructions. A 2025 customer said they installed 12 Emerald Greens and 14 hydrangeas on a property in Stamford. A 2022 customer said that in less than 4 hours Rudy and a helper blew the leaves on over half an acre, trimmed the front shrubs and over 150 feet of driveway bushes, and mowed the lawn.

A 2026 customer said they plowed a steep driveway and walkway. A 2026 customer said Jonathan and crew did most of a driveway by hand after 16 inches of snow. A 2025 customer said John and Rudy spread a new layer of gravel across a very large driveway and edged out where the gravel would end.

A 2025 Google reviewer said they "sprayed round up all of my lawn and killed all my flowers and grass."

**Strengths:**
- A retaining wall build — a recent customer says it replaced a pile of rocks
- Lawn re-seeding — a 2025 customer said they aerated and seeded the lawn
