Houzz shows nine projects and two reviews, with a 3.0 displayed rating. The 2024 reviews are sharply mixed. One customer praised the company’s construction and landscaping design, while another described a backyard overhaul with problems in concrete, grading, drainage, deck construction, materials, communication, and workmanship, and said attempted fixes made matters worse. The detailed negative account makes project oversight and correction terms important to clarify before booking. Ask for a written scope, materials list, drainage and grading plan, schedule, and a clear process for addressing defects. The profile may fit outdoor construction and landscape projects in the Lynn area, but the small and divided review record warrants careful reference checks and a detailed contract. **Strengths:** - Landscape and construction design praised in one 2024 review **Concerns:** - A 2024 customer reported extensive project and workmanship problems **Where sources disagree:** - The two 2024 reviews are sharply mixed ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Houzz lists JM Landscape and Construction in Lynn, MA with a 3.0 rating from two reviews and nine projects. _(confidence: high)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/jm-landscape-and-construction-pfvwus-pf~975769610) — “Houzz: 3.0★ from 2 ratings” - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/jm-landscape-and-construction-pfvwus-pf~975769610) — “9 project(s) shown on Houzz” - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/jm-landscape-and-construction-pfvwus-pf~975769610) — “Houzz lists JM Landscape and Construction in Lynn, MA, with a 3.0 rating from two reviews, nine projects, and a broad landscape, masonry, co…” - A 2024 reviewer said the company provided good construction service and good landscaping design. _(confidence: medium)_ - [Houzz](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/landscape-contractors/jm-landscape-and-construction-pfvwus-pf~975769610) — “5★ JM Landscaping .good company they did good service for me on construction.
