A 2022 review says Johnny Hanlon has done this type of work for many years and his wife, Caroline, deals with billing. In 2023, a leaking oil tank was replaced. Johnny called back less than 5 minutes after a voicemail, showed up when he said he would and explained in detail what work would be done and when; he and his crew then showed up on time, completed the task and went through the preventative maintenance that can be done at home to keep the furnace running. In 2022, Hanlon Oil removed an in ground oil burner at a place of business in Lexington, and that review calls them timely, efficient, knowledgeable and personable. In a 2026 review, the person who picked up the phone hung up before a question could be asked, and kept hanging up on repeat calls. **Strengths:** - Oil tank replacement — 2023 leaking tank replaced on schedule - Quick callbacks — 2023 voicemail returned in under 5 minutes **Concerns:** - Phone manner — 2026 review says calls were repeatedly hung up ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Replaced a leaking oil tank in 2023 and explained furnace preventative maintenance _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNSay15MV93RRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xb43b10880b198bbb!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICRk-y1_wE%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Recently found myself in need of a replacement oil tank.
