## The honest read

Jamie VanEtten tree service gets called for the awkward ones. A recent Google customer described an 18-inch multi-trunk dead ash covered with grape vines, next to a fence, within 10 feet of two buildings and at the top of a vertical cliff along the lake — and said there was no damage to anything.

The removals near houses follow the same line. One recent customer said Jamie made a careful assessment of a tree very close to the house to find the safest way to fall it, then moved the trunks to the spot they asked for, for future firewood. For one customer, he dropped two trees right behind the horse sheds, exactly where they had to go. A recent customer said he removed four trees near or over hanging the house without any problems.

The pace is quick. One recent customer said he came to give a quote the day they called and did the removal several days later. In 2025, a customer said Jamie stopped by for an estimate the same day, the contract was signed that evening, and he and his crew arrived the next morning; six trees were removed and hauled away.

Jamie and crew spent four hours on an ash tree in a difficult spot for one recent customer, piling the limbs and cutting the trunk in pieces as asked. A recent customer said Jamie and his brother had a tree down and the branches piled so the customer could handle the cleanup. Trimming is on offer too: a recent customer said Jamie trimmed two large oaks and took pains to protect the lawn.

Google shows 5 stars from 30 ratings. A 2025 customer said Jamie was the third tree service they called, after the other two did not show up.

**Strengths:**
- Tight removals — trees felled near a house, sheds and a lakeside cliff
- Same-day estimates — a quote on the day of the call, work days later
- Fair quotes — a fair price, and a very fair one on four trees
- Limbs piled — trunk cut in pieces as one customer asked
