A recent Google customer was disappointed with a fence installation: problems began within the first few months, the fence became uneven, and signs of rot developed where screws drilled into the top post caps cracked the wood and let water pool inside. That customer said the company took a look and said there was nothing they could do, and that what was described during the estimate differed significantly from what happened during installation. A 2025 customer said the company had installed gates, and when they called two years later because the gates were not straight and the latches were messed up, they were put on the schedule but no one showed up. A recent Reddit commenter in r/RhodeIsland wrote that JC Fence "did a great job for me." A 2024 Google customer said their two dogs were loving their new fenced in yard. **Strengths:** - A fenced dog yard — a 2024 customer said their dogs loved it **Concerns:** - Uneven fence, rot — a recent customer saw problems within months - A missed gate visit — a 2025 customer said no one showed up ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A recent customer said the fence became uneven and showed rot within months of installation _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2sxd1J6WTFPR2xwV1U1cFoxZzBRVmRPVGtJelgxRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xeed4ec03112ed0bb!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOk1wRzY1OGlpWU5pZ1g0QVdOTkIzX1E%7C%7C?hl=en) — “2★ I am very disappointed with the fence installation.
