Jeff Maietta EarthWorks lists its services on its own website as stump grinding and removal, French drains and property drainage, lot clearing, driveway and gravel road repair and grading, and septic installation, repair and leach field replacement. The site names a service area that includes Portland, South Portland, Scarborough, Falmouth, Gorham, Windham and Freeport. A recent customer said Jeff did drain work and re-routed gutter water for them; the yard was a mess, and now there is no more standing water. That customer called the price very reasonable and said the job was completed when he promised. A recent customer said the owner was hands-on and answered questions thoroughly, and that even with changes the customer made throughout the project, the employees just wanted to help them understand why something could or couldn't be done. A recent customer said Jeff did stump grinding and drainage work and installed a new driveway at their house, and that he showed up when he said he would. A recent customer who hired Jeff for stump removal, drainage and a driveway installation reported zero issues after heavy rain. **Strengths:** - Standing water gone — a recent customer said the yard is drying out now - A French drain install — a recent customer said the job was done quickly - On-time completion — a recent customer said the job was completed when promised - A reasonable price — a recent customer called the drain work price very reasonable ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - A recent customer said Jeff and his team installed a French drain, worked long days to finish quickly and cleaned up thoroughly afterward _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25Ob1gzQmxabWh1UkZSSlJESm5SMUpoZEcxSVMwRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xdf8a9276e0e0b5d4!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnNoX3BlZmhuRFRJRDJnR1JhdG1IS0E%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Jeff and his team installed a French drain in our backyard to address some water issues in our bulkhead.
