Last 6 months: 17 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read In July 2026, a Google reviewer wrote that Jericho Roofing removed the old metal roof and the cedar shingles under it from their barn and installed a new standing seam roof, all in one long day. Jericho Roofing Company is based in Underhill, Vermont, says it has over 30 years in the roofing, siding and gutter industries, and lists a service area from Jericho and Burlington to Montpelier and Barre. Its Vermont home improvement registration (174.0001088) is active, and the BBB lists it as accredited with an A grade. Google shows 4.9 stars from 50 ratings. In March 2026 a reviewer wrote that high winds tore portions of their roof; Josh came out the same day, scheduled a full replacement a couple of days later, and his crew covered the exposed spots in the meantime. A June 2026 reviewer said the crew put a new sheet metal roof on their family's 180-year-old house and removed an old chimney. In May 2026 a customer wrote that the crew was big enough to finish their entire roof in 1 day, and that pricing was fair compared with other local companies they priced out. In an August 2024 review, a customer said Josh's crew replaced the damaged half of their roof in an afternoon and ran a magnet over the driveway several times to catch stray nails. In an April 2026 Google review, a customer wrote that the standing seam roof installed in May 2025 in raw Galvalume had visibly scuffed panels; the company assured them for months that the panels would be replaced, then at the end of October 2025 said it would not replace them and that the scuffing would even out over time. **Strengths:** - One-day reroofs — a May 2026 roof was finished in 1 day - Storm response — Josh assessed wind damage the same day in 2026 - Cleanup — 2024 crew ran a magnet over the driveway for nails **Concerns:** - Scuffed panels — 2026 customer says promised replacement was later refused ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - In July 2026, the crew stripped a barn's old metal roof and cedar shingles and installed a standing seam roof in one long day _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xNeFdVZHphbWcwTW5CSk1UUm9RazVvV2kwNU1VRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x23ab66c421bc0333!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlMxWUdzamg0MnBJMTRoQk5oWi05MUE%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Jericho Roofing did a marvelous job replacing the roof on the barn with a standing seam!
