## The honest read

Jermaine C Home Improvement LLC takes on long lists of small jobs in one go. A recent Google customer said Jermaine and his workers handled everything from tiling to mounting shelves to installing wall-mounted TVs. On Angi, a recent customer said Jermaine and Lee installed their windows and also diagnosed a gas leak.

On Angi, the company describes itself as specializing in carpentry, repairing deteriorated wood and damaged sheetrock, and remodeling bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens. A 2025 customer wrote that Jermaine and his team stayed late on a Friday afternoon to install appliances Home Depot had been unable to install. A 2024 customer said the company replaced damaged drywall ceilings, installed a butcher block countertop, rebuilt the side of a porch because of rotted wood, and installed a new floor and trim. A 2024 Google customer with a home built in the early 1900s said Jermaine matched the original masonry stucco finish.

A recent customer who hired them to patch a wall and replace trim in a bathroom said they did not listen, made a mess and asked for more money while charging by the hour. A recent customer said they did not clean up after the job. A 2025 Angi customer said a bathroom vanity, exhaust fan, faucet, medicine cabinet and light install expected to take about 4 hours took 7, left a hole in the sheetrock, and that the plumbing pipe installed was leaking. A 2024 Google customer said a quote for two new windows rose to double after day 2 and the project was left unfinished. A 2022 Angi customer said a new attic staircase fell on them while Jermaine was installing it, and that his insurance carrier declined all claims for damages.
