A recent Google customer said they have done two home projects with the company and named Jon as the owner. A 2025 customer said Johnathan came to the house the next day to quote painting a few exterior doors, and that the job was scheduled quickly. A 2024 customer said the prices were fair and reasonable. In a 2013 Angi review of an interior painting job of five or more rooms, a customer said the work took longer than promised, spots were missed, the wrong primer was used in some areas so old water stains bled through, and paint spatters landed on the moldings, doors and windows. A 2013 customer said the work was completed on time but paint splatter on the floor, stairs and baseboards was not cleaned up. Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0670675, as active, held by J&L Painting Services LLC. **Strengths:** - Next-day quote — a 2025 customer said Johnathan came by the next day - Fair prices — a 2024 customer called prices fair and reasonable - Two home projects — a recent customer has done two with the company **Concerns:** - Missed spots — a 2013 customer cited wrong primer and paint spatters - Splatter left behind — a 2013 customer said it was not cleaned up ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself on Angi as a residential painting company in the Danbury area for over 10 years _(confidence: low)_ - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/danbury/jl-painting-services-llc-reviews-35459481.htm) — “About (Angi, self-described): J L Painting Services, LLC has been putting the perfect final touch on homes throughout the Danbury area and F…” - 5 stars from 3 Google ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=JL%20Painting%20Services%20LLC&query_place_id=ChIJq93oVTm_54kRjhXGlzCCJMU) — “Google: 5★ from 3 ratings” - A recent customer said they have done two home projects with the company _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2xvd2FVc3hNbG90WkdGalMwaEJOemRFYnpkc2QwRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xc524823097c6158e!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOlowaUsxMlotZGFjS0hBNzdEbzdsd0E%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Great company!
