## The honest read

JM Roofing & Siding says on its website that it is based in Norwalk, CT and works on roofing and siding, with a stated service area running from Greenwich and Stamford to Fairfield, Trumbull and Bridgeport. The website claims 15 years in business. On Google it holds 4.7 stars from 28 ratings, and its BBB grade is A+.

A 2021 customer said Juan came over right away, walked the roof with a tape measure and gave a bid on the spot for two roof sections with an anti-ice-dam underlayment. That customer said the bid was about 1/3 less than a competitor's, and the crew came three days later and finished in about six hours. A 2023 customer said they had their roof and gutter system replaced, that Juan was quick with a competitively priced proposal, and that the crew did a thorough cleanup.

A 2024 customer said the company helped repair their home after a tree fell on it, on time and on budget. A 2024 customer said Juan and his team completed the roof on time, as promised, and were respectful of their space. A 2024 customer wrote that they had worked with Juan Matute for several years. A 2025 customer described a total roof replacement and said every aspect was addressed.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0628725, as active, held by J M Roofing & Siding LLC.

**Strengths:**
- A same-visit bid — a 2021 customer got a bid on the spot
- A thorough cleanup — a 2023 customer said the crew cleaned up thoroughly
- Tree damage repair — a 2024 customer said it was on time and on budget

**Where sources disagree:**
- The company's website says it has been in business 15 years, while its Angi profile says it has served the greater Norwalk area since 2002.
