Last 6 months: 0 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read Weekend calls come up again and again for JMP Electric, a Middletown, Connecticut electrician: four customers describe Sunday visits and three more Saturday ones. In a December 2024 review, a car crash had pulled the main service line off a house early on a Saturday morning, and Jeremy came out and restored power the same day. Google shows 5 stars from 35 ratings; Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 4.9 from 85. More than two dozen reviewers name Jeremy, and an August 2025 customer identifies him as the owner. Other names come up too: Craig snaked wires through a hot attic for a radon pump outlet in 2025, Austin replaced cooked breakers in under two hours in 2022, and Jared handled a rewire in 2024. In January 2026, a customer whose rental house shared an unsafe electrical system with their own said Jeremy dug a trench, worked with Eversource, and stayed late at night to meet the utility's deadline. The jobs range from small fixes to bigger projects. A June 2025 customer said Jeremy arrived at 5 pm and stayed until almost 9 to finish every item on their list. A January 2024 review describes a long 240v run through an inaccessible breezeway ceiling for an EV charger; others describe generator installs and repairs, service upgrades, and an October 2023 panel full of mouse bedding cleaned out and upgraded. One April 2022 reviewer, posting on Angi, called the work good but very expensive; a January 2025 Google customer called the prices very competitive. The company says it offers free estimates and 24/7 emergency service, and BBB grades it A+. JMP Electric holds an active Connecticut E1 electrical contractor licence, ELC.0200874-E1. **Strengths:** - Weekend calls — seven reviews describe Saturday or Sunday visits - Emergency repairs — service line restored same day after a 2024 crash - EV and generator work — chargers and generators in several reviews **Concerns:** - Price — one 2022 reviewer called the work very expensive ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Holds an active Connecticut E1 electrical contractor licence, ELC.0200874-E1, held by JMP Electric _(confidence: high)_ - [State License Registry](https://www.elicense.ct.gov/Lookup/LicenseLookup.aspx) — “CT electrician license ELC.0200874-E1 registry-verified active — registry holder of record: JMP ELECTRIC” - 5 stars from 35 Google ratings; 4.9 stars from 85 ratings on both Angi and HomeAdvisor _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=JMP%20ELECTRIC%20LLC&query_place_id=ChIJiQqQl4415okRTPoyL7VRRBY) — “Google: 5★ from 35 ratings” - [Angi](https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ct/middletown/jmp-electric-llc-reviews-1.htm) — “Angi: 4.9★ from 85 ratings” - [HomeAdvisor](https://www.homeadvisor.com/rated.JMPElectricLLC.45221643.html) — “HomeAdvisor: 4.9★ from 85 ratings” - BBB grade A+ _(confidence: high)_ - [Better Business Bureau](https://www.bbb.org/us/ct/middletown/profile/electrician/jmp-electric-llc-0111-87128724) — “Better Business Bureau grade: A+” - Weekend service described in several reviews, including a same-day Saturday service-line repair after a December 2024 car crash _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25ONWFrSndWRlZDV1Y5QloyRktTV2RqTWpSNFFtYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x164451b52f32fa4c!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnN5akJwVFVCWV9BZ2FKSWdjMjR4Qmc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Came in on a Sunday (called him day before).
