One recent customer wrote about sewage backing into her shower on a Saturday morning. She said the pump truck was in her driveway forty-five minutes after her call, that the owner searched for her tank until he found it, pumped it, carried 5-gallon pails of water upstairs to make sure her pipes were cleared, then backfilled, raked the area and cleaned up. A recent customer with water backing up said they dug out the tank cover, emptied the tank, found the water problem was another pipe and unclogged it. A recent customer facing a septic backup said Chris called after hours to walk them through unclogging a drain so they could keep using water until a pump-out could be scheduled. A recent customer said they pumped the septic and put a new baffle on, and called back within 24 hours to schedule. A recent customer said Chris offered to do a baffle repair or talk them through doing it themselves, and gave them the Fernco coupling they needed. A recent customer wrote that the company maintained its porta-potties as it said it would. A 2025 customer said JNV located and pumped a hard-to-find tank that another local company had given up on finding. A 2025 customer said Chris came out right away for an off-hours septic emergency and stayed until the problem was fixed, working in mud, rain and dark for hours. A 2025 customer who called about an odor in the yard said Chris handled the pump-out, showed them how to maintain the filter and pointed out areas that needed repair. A 2025 customer said Chris, the owner, found their tank cover rather quickly. A 2025 customer said Chris walked her through troubleshooting for several days and ordered a part to take care of the issue. A recent customer said the company does not answer the phone and does not return calls within 24 hours as its message says it will. **Strengths:** - Emergency septic call — a recent customer said the truck came 45 minutes after calling - After-hours guidance — a recent customer said Chris called after hours to help - A hard-to-find tank — a 2025 customer said JNV found one another company could not - Tank pumping prices — a recent customer called them very affordable **Concerns:** - Unreturned calls — a recent customer said promised 24-hour callbacks never came ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - 4.9-star Google rating from 31 ratings _(confidence: high)_ - [Google](https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=JNV%20Septic&query_place_id=ChIJJ5iMwFiURIoRrQjqQfnbS_s) — “Google: 4.9★ from 31 ratings” - A recent customer said the pump truck arrived forty-five minutes after a Saturday call, and the owner found, pumped and backfilled her tank _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT205TWNtSmpPRGRZYTJwMWFYWkdabDlsYUZSRWJXYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xfb4bdbf941ea08ad!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOm9McmJjODdYa2p1aXZGZl9laFREbWc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ When your poop comes up into your shower on a Saturday morning, you’re an old lady living alone, and you are TOTALLY FREAKING OUT, what s…” - A recent customer said they dug out the tank cover, emptied the tank and unclogged another pipe _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT25oV2JYTkhibFppVm1wcWNFOXRhbGhNTFV0ME1uYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0xfb4bdbf941ea08ad!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOnhWbXNHblZiVmpqcE9talhMLUt0Mnc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ Megan and Chris are amazing!
