## The honest read

A 2016 customer with a textured popcorn ceiling damaged by a water leak said they expected a hard time finding someone who still repaired that type of ceiling. That 2016 customer said that when John and his helper were finished, you would never know the ceiling was patched. The same 2016 customer said they covered and isolated the work area to contain the dust and debris, vacuumed the floor and moved the furniture back.

A 2019 customer said John rebuilt a soffit on a tricky repair in one morning. A 2019 customer said John repaired a wall that had been badly damaged by an air conditioner leak. A 2014 customer said John and his crew handled an extensive ceiling repair and painting project because of water damage, and that the work area was spotless when the work was completed. A 2014 customer said John repaired bathroom walls and moulding and replaced a door. A 2017 customer said a three-man team was on time and the bedroom redo came out better than expected. A 2020 customer said Mr. Aubin was easy to work with and timely, and would hire him again.

A 2016 customer said John charged by the job rather than the hour, and that the cost ended up more than expected on an old house. A 2020 customer called the job "not cheap."

John Aubin's Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 195278, is expired on the state registry. HomeAdvisor shows 4.9 stars from 41 ratings.
