--- title: "John Delandy Construction" description: "John Delandy Construction is a Dennis Port, Massachusetts general contractor listed for kitchen, bathroom, basement, and whole-home remodeling on Cape Cod " doc_version: "2026-09-13" last_updated: "2026-09-13" --- # John Delandy Construction **Trade:** General Contractor / Remodeling · **Address:** 273 Lower County Road · **Phone:** (603) 553-1358 · **Languages:** English **Rating: 2.7/5** (low confidence) — from 1 reviews across 1 sources. ## The honest read John Delandy Construction is a Dennis Port, Massachusetts general contractor listed for kitchen, bathroom, basement, and whole-home remodeling on Cape Cod — but the paperwork behind the business raises questions before you even get to the one review on file. BuildZoom lists the contractor's Home Improvement Contractor license, and eight others, as held by a Raymond J Choquette — a name that matches neither the business nor the John Delandy trading name — with no licence numbers printed, and shows a New Hampshire headquarters in Salem alongside the Dennis Port address. The only written account on file is a 2018 review: a customer said she hired John Delandy in 2011 for a kitchen remodel, basement waterproofing and repointing, and new front porch windows. She described the kitchen work as completed, but said $2,250 she paid for 10 Harvey windows was never used to install them. Given the mismatched licensing information and this unresolved complaint, verify current licensing directly and get everything in writing — including any upfront payment for materials — before hiring for a job of real size. **Strengths:** - Completed kitchen work — a 2018 review says the 2011 kitchen job was finished **Concerns:** - Unresolved window complaint — a 2018 review alleges $2,250 paid for windows never installed - Licence held by another name — BuildZoom lists the HIC licence under Raymond J Choquette - Out-of-state headquarters — BuildZoom shows a Salem, New Hampshire address alongside the Cape Cod one **Where sources disagree:** - BuildZoom's licence listing names Raymond J Choquette, not John Delandy, as the license holder, and shows a Salem, New Hampshire headquarters alongside the Dennis Port, Massachusetts address — a naming and location mismatch worth resolving before hiring. ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - BuildZoom lists kitchen remodel, bathroom remodel, basement remodel, whole-home remodel, and addition services for this Dennis Port, Massachusetts general contractor _(confidence: medium)_ - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/john-delandy) — “Services offered (BuildZoom): Kitchen Remodel, Bathroom Remodel, Basement Remodel, Whole Home Remodel, Addition” - In a 2018 review, the customer said the 2011 kitchen remodel portion of the job was completed _(confidence: low)_ - [BuildZoom](https://www.buildzoom.com/contractor/john-delandy) — “1★ Kitchen remodel, waterproof basement, install windows.
