Last 6 months: 7 reviews, 0 negative. ## The honest read In an August 2026 Google review, a customer describes six days of work by Josh and Manny painting a two-story cathedral ceiling and walls, water damage repairs included, and writes that no one can detect where the former roof leaked. A July 2026 reviewer says Josh restored damage from a leaky roof and helped match an older paint color, and in a June 2024 review a customer says Josh fixed ceiling drywall after a bathroom leak. Josh High End Painting is a Torrington company; Google shows 5 stars from 40 ratings, with 5.0 from 7 ratings each on HomeAdvisor and Angi. The August 2026 reviewer says Josh answered the first inquiry immediately, viewed the job within the week, gave a detailed written quote with a guarantee and a count of business days, and gave notice each day of arriving and leaving. A May 2026 reviewer says Josh and his helper Manny painted the walls, ceiling and trim in two large rooms. A March 2024 reviewer had a large wrap-around deck, stairs, privacy walls and railings sanded and stained. Another March 2024 review describes Josh power washing siding and clearing moss from pavers and a rooftop in one day, and a December 2021 reviewer had power washing, gutter cleaning, a wasps nest removed and a moss-covered garage roof cleared the same day. A February 2026 reviewer had the exterior of a home painted, and a June 2022 reviewer had all three floors of a house repainted inside, garage included. In a December 2024 4-star review, a customer whose main floor was painted says the big drywall repairs went well, but some imperfections were not sanded and blended, trim was not taped, and the top edge above the doors in a hallway was painted; Josh came back the next day to fix issues the customer texted about.
