## The honest read

JS Masonry Construction is a stone and masonry company that customers name by its people: Jose, his son, and Angel. The company describes itself as family-owned, says it has been in business 20 years and offers free estimates.

The jobs are patios, walkways, walls and repairs. In a July 2025 Google review, a customer said Jose and Angel designed and built walkways, a patio and parking area, stone stairs and walls on their property. A September 2024 customer said JS poured a pad for a dirt-floor basement, built a stone wall alongside the driveway and laid a paver patio, and said Angel is really good at what he does. Another September 2024 customer said Jose replaced their patio and added a needed drainage system.

Repairs get the same attention. A July 2025 Angi customer said Jose and his son quoted work on a crumbling garage foundation, explained the steps, and in one day on an extremely hot day reworked the entire foundation rather than just patching it, and said they would come back for any adjustments in the future. An October 2024 customer had a front stone entryway repaired the same day Jose and his son came to look at it.

Pricing comes up plainly: a December 2025 customer said the bill was exactly as estimated, and a February 2025 customer praised very clear line-item quotes and said Jose found problems that were not on the job specs and advised on them with no pressure to have the firm fix them.

Google shows 5 stars from 10 ratings; Angi and HomeAdvisor each show 5.0 from 12.

Connecticut's registry shows its home improvement contractor license, HIC.0671365, as active.

**Strengths:**
- Hardscape builds — 2024–2025 customers describe patios, walkways and stone walls
- Foundation repair — a 2025 garage foundation reworked in one day
- Clear quotes — a 2025 customer praises line-item quotes and no-pressure advice
