A 2026 customer called the employees attentive, knowledgeable and efficient, and the prices reasonable. A 2025 customer said Jim showed up the same morning their hot water tank was leaking, and his team installed the new tank the next day. That 2025 customer called it the most professional hot water tank job they had seen, neat and clean. A 2025 reviewer in a rental property said Jim replaced a water heater that wasn't working the very same day. A 2023 customer said Jimmy called back within 30 minutes of a 10:30pm voicemail about a water heater leak that flooded the basement, and showed up with a full team first thing in the morning as promised. That 2023 customer said they cleaned up and fixed a few mistakes from prior work without being asked. A 2023 reviewer said they had fixed issues from a clogged drain to a leaky water heater hose. A 2023 customer said JSocci gave a price nearly half of what larger plumbing companies in Stamford quoted. A 2022 customer said Jim Jr. fixed a pipe leak in the ceiling efficiently, but later charged $350 for a 15 to 20 minute urgent visit that left a temporary fix on a fridge water line. That 2022 customer was then quoted $4000 to replace a 40-gallon water heater. A 2022 reviewer said he quoted $10,500 to replace a leaking water heater and told them the warranty would not be honored so close to its expiry. That 2022 reviewer said the tank company did honor the warranty and the job cost about $1,700 in the end. **Strengths:** - Same-day water heater — a 2025 customer said Jim replaced it that day - Late-night callback — a 2023 customer got a call back within 30 minutes - A lower quote — a 2023 customer paid nearly half of other quotes **Concerns:** - A $350 urgent visit — a 2022 customer was charged for a temporary fix - A $10,500 quote — a 2022 reviewer was quoted that for a water heater ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Describes itself as offering residential and commercial plumbing services, including sewer line replacement, well pump replacement and heating. _(confidence: high)_ - [Official Website](https://jsocciplumbing.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): Whether you need a simple faucet installation, complete sewer line replacement, well pump replacement or he…” - A 2025 customer said Jim's team installed a new hot water tank the day after a leak was reported. _(confidence: high)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT205SVlVMTBlV0ZYU1hKTWRVMXZSMFY0Wm1Gb1ltYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x45ca6164273d20d9!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOm9IYU10eWFXSXJMdU1vR0V4ZmFoYmc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I recently called Jim because my hot water tank was leaking and I was in a time crunch because we were shortly leaving for vacation.
