A recent customer donating a queen bedroom set, a heavy dresser, a tall chest, a glass and metal office desk, and a kitchen table and chairs to Goodwill of CT wrote that a husband and wife team, Orlando and Cherie, handled it with just two people. That customer said they were quick and careful of walls and doorways. A 2024 customer said they came the next day at 8am and cleared a sofa bed that was too heavy to move out of the garage in less than 20 minutes. A 2025 customer said a sofa was removed with no fuss, at a much better quote than other area businesses gave. In a 2022 Thumbtack review, a landlord said Orlando removed trash and furniture a tenant left in front of the house, arrived on the scheduled day and cleaned everything up. A recent customer who booked through a third-party platform said Orlando arrived and said the cost would be double the original quoted price for items on the third floor, then canceled the order without saying anything. That customer said later calls were ignored and the number was blocked. **Strengths:** - A careful furniture haul — a recent customer said they protected walls and doorways - Next-day pickup — a 2024 customer said they came the next day at 8am - A lower quote — a 2025 customer said it beat other area businesses **Concerns:** - Price doubled on arrival — a recent customer said the quote was doubled on site - A canceled job — a recent customer said the order was canceled without a word ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Offers junk removal in Waterbury, CT, for commercial and residential customers, according to its website _(confidence: medium)_ - [Official Website](http://junkaweigh.com) — “About (self-reported, verbatim): For fast, reliable junk removal in Waterbury, CT, look no further than our services for both commercial and…” - A recent customer said a two-person team moved a bedroom set, desk and kitchen set for donation, careful of walls and doorways _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sCi9DQUlRQUNvZENodHljRjlvT2tWYVptTkJUV1ZVYTNNelJURnFRaTF5ZFZkSllYYxAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x628d4c6e4f13550c!3m1!1s2@1:CAIQACodChtycF9oOkVaZmNBTWVUa3MzRTFqQi1ydVdJYXc%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ I had my doubts when just two people showed up full size queen bedroom set with a heavy dresser and tall chest, a glass and metal office …” - A 2024 customer said they came the next day at 8am and removed a sofa bed in under 20 minutes _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChZDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUR2dklTSU5nEAE!2m1!1s0x0:0x628d4c6e4f13550c!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgIDvvISINg%7C%7C?hl=en-US) — “5★ When I bought my home 5yrs ago, the previous owners left a hideous old ratty sofa bed in the garage.
