Every written review of Kaar Plumbing and Heating is about one person: Mike. All five Google reviews, written between 2022 and 2024, name him, and the business holds 5 stars on Google from 7 ratings. On its BBB profile, the company describes itself as providing plumbing and heating system repair and installation, and BBB gives it an A+.

The jobs customers describe are the urgent kind. In an October 2024 review, a customer wrote that Mike helped on short notice in a no-heat situation and showed up exactly as promised. In a January 2024 review, a customer with a frozen water pipe said he came right over, solved the problem in less than an hour, and charged a very reasonable price. Another October 2024 reviewer, who named Mike Kaar, said he had done two jobs for them, the latter a water heater install, and called his rates very reasonable. A February 2024 reviewer said he responds quickly.

In a 2022 review, a customer wrote that they had known Mike for 10 years before he went out on his own and switched over to him right away, describing a square deal with no surprises.
