# Kingsley Improvements **Trade:** Fencing · **Address:** 357 S Main St Unit B, West Bridgewater, MA 02379 · **Phone:** (774) 246-6017 · **Website:** https://www.kingsleyimprovements.com/ · **Languages:** English **Rating: 4.2/5** (high confidence) — from 84 reviews across 6 sources. 98% of sentiment-scored reviews read net-positive. Last 6 months: 9 reviews, 2 negative. ## The honest read Kingsley Improvements works out of West Bridgewater, and on the South Shore, fences are what put them on the map — a Reddit thread from April 2026 called them "top notch", and Google reviewers keep landing on the same words: quick, communicative, and clean by the time the crew leaves. Vinyl, chain link, and stockade fences make up the bulk of the recent reviews. One customer's new fence survived a storm that knocked a tree onto it, and Kingsley came back to repair it; another got a stockade-and-chain-link job with a new entry gate and called the communication excellent. In a 2025 review, a homeowner who'd hired Kingsley for a basement job a decade earlier called them back for more work, and said the fact Dave remembered the original job was part of what sold them. Basement waterproofing and sump pump swaps are the other steady line of work — a recent review describes a sump pump and vinyl fence installed on the same visit, and another a basement waterproofed the summer before with a straightforward, fairly priced estimate. Roof work shows up too, mostly leak-finding and clearing rather than full re-roofs: one reviewer called Kingsley out for roof debris clearing and had someone on-site within hours, and in a 2025 review another described a hard-to-find leak that got located and fixed on the first attempt. Two recent reviews break the pattern and are worth asking about directly. One customer says a pool-fence job was left unfinished — rubbish left in the yard, a deposit paid, and no return visit to fix a fence that was already falling over. Another, on a roofing job staffed by a subcontractor crew, describes a communication breakdown on-site that never fully got resolved. Both are recent, and both stand out against a much larger run of reviews describing prompt, clean, well-communicated work — worth a direct question before signing anything, especially on a job that isn't fencing or that might be subcontracted. For fencing and basement/sump pump work, the track record is deep across platforms — 4.9★ from 81 Google ratings, and 5.0★ from 95 ratings on each of Angi and HomeAdvisor. Get a clear written scope and payment schedule for anything larger than a straightforward fence job, and ask directly whether the crew will be Kingsley's own or a subcontractor. **Strengths:** - Fence installs — often quote-to-install within about a week - Basement waterproofing — same-day pump swaps during active floods - Storm-damaged fence — repaired after a tree took it down - Repeat customers — return years later for new projects - Word of mouth — named directly on Reddit and town pages **Concerns:** - Unfinished pool fence — deposit taken, no return visit reported - Subcontracted roofing job — communication and quality complaint on-site ## Claims & citations Every claim below is backed by real evidence rows — uncited claims are dropped in code before publication. - Fence installs frequently completed within about a week of the initial quote _(confidence: medium)_ - [Google Reviews](https://www.google.com/maps/reviews/data=!4m8!14m7!1m6!2m5!1sChdDSUhNMG9nS0VJQ0FnSUNKd2IzWjVnRRAB!2m1!1s0x0:0x43fb62a8dd4e2ed6!3m1!1s2@1:CIHM0ogKEICAgICJwb3Z5gE%7C%7C?hl=en) — “5★ Fantastic experience.
