## The honest read

A 2023 customer of Kopac Design & Build said that on their condo master bath, Andrew provided 3D designs that helped win advance approval from the condo board, obtained the town permits, and had the town inspectors in twice to approve the work. That 2023 customer said the old spa tub and small shower came out in one day and the project landed on budget and on time, and described the business as Kopak Design and Build from Shelton, CT.

On Houzz, the company describes itself as a Fairfield County, Connecticut remodeler that specializes in full design-and-build bathroom renovations, including custom interior carpentry. Its website says its architecture-trained founder creates 3D renderings before a wall is touched, and lists a service area that includes Shelton, Fairfield, Westport, Trumbull, Stratford, Monroe and Newtown.

A 2024 customer said Andrew worked through the bathroom layout with them until it fit the space, using renderings that showed how each design decision would look. That 2024 customer said Andrew and his partner Wade cleaned up at the end of every night while completely gutting a master bathroom, and kept an open line of communication throughout construction. A 2024 customer wrote that Andrew and his team remodeled four bathrooms and one kitchen for them over the prior year.

A 2023 customer said a main-floor bathroom was converted from a bathtub to a full walk-in shower and finished within a few days of their move-in, with work continuing through the day of the move. A 2023 customer said Andrew had done bathroom tile work, custom doors and trim, completed a laundry room with custom cabinetry and remodeled their basement. A 2023 customer said that, apart from supply chain issues, the work was done on time or ahead of schedule.

Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0649551, as active, held by Kopac Design.
